Taking inspiration from the Top End and North West lifestyles, these tongue in cheek still life compositions celebrate the status of some ever present icons from daily life in the Kimberley. Here, in the bush, ham in a can and endless cups of sweet tea are camping staples. The evenings smell of mozzie coils and Bushmans. Road trips are always epic and fuelling up at Roadhouses never includes healthy food options. What now. Entertainment opportunities are limited, Coca Cola and tobacco are making a killing. And the flip side of having predictable, perfect weather for half of the year is the occasional devastating flood or cyclone.
